ARGONET & SINAP@ workshop

The Consortium of the SINAPS@ project and the Institute of Engineering Seismology & Earthquake Engineering (ITSAK-EPPO), organized a Workshop in the TEI premises of Argostoli (25 -26 Sept. 2018), in order to present the main achievements of the project during the period Oct. 2015- Sep. 2018.

The ARGONET special accelerometric array in Koutavos park (Argostoli) and similar infrastructures in Greece were presented, and the goals of HELPOS project were highlighted.

Scientific results of European projects based on the ARGONET data and metadata, pertaining seismic hazard assessment and risk reduction were discussed.  Resolution for the future steps of the important infrastructure installed in Koutavos was deduced, after a round table discussion by all participants.

The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Nikos Theodoulidis (Research Director at ITSAK-EPPO) and Dr. Fabrice Hollender (Researcher CEA, France).

In the following you can see the workshop schedule. You can view and download all presentations and the rest of the workshop related material. Some photos of all the events and activities during the two days workshop are available here.
